Birthday Month!

March is my birthday month and also the end of Q1 2018. Had a blast as I decided to host a last minute party for my quarter century plus some birthday. Due to timing issues I had to hold it on the 2nd, which is 1 day before my actual birthday. Thank goodness I had some help and Marc decided to co-host the party with me! What ensued was a really nice evening of meeting friends new and old.

End November to early December contained a wealth of surprises, among which was that my long lost cousin from Shanghai, Kimberley or Zhang Jin which she is known, came to Singapore for a three week long holiday, mostly as a sabbatical and also to work on her novel/writing.

Hey ya! Just finished an Ultra tiring weekend at Ultra. Lol, see what I did there! Anyway Ultra Singapore was really really and I mean REALLY muddy. And crowded, the queues for food and drink barely moved for over 1 hour. But the music was, eh, OKAY i guess. Silly me for wearing Haviannas to a music festival with all that MUD but I guess that's a lesson learnt? YOU NEED HEAVY DUTY WELLINGTONS das what you need. Whew I'm finally back from Japan. The flight back was really tiring because the first flight to Shanghai delayed and we missed our connecting flight out to Singapore... :-( Going to break up the post into parts because there are way too many pictures to post all at once.

Took a connecting flight from Singapore to Shanghai and then Osaka. We spent the morning in Shanghai and spent some time with Grandmamaw and Grandpapaw at Hongqiao. :) Pictures from the morning there!

It's the end of another week, so more peektures for a round up of all the places I've been this week.

Monday

The Secret Mermaid. So we bought two drinks and some truffle fries and a corn dog. It was Singapore Cocktail week so they were doing some promo on the drinks. Little did we know how awful the drinks were. There was this milo and moonshine infusion that was absolutely putrid, 10/10 would not recommend. The food was so-so and the space was really tiny like it can sit only 15 people max?

Did my hair on Wednesday at Picasso Hair Salon @ Haji Lane! It's brown now with caramel highlights. Really pleased with it.

And shisha and chill at a friend's place followed by Zouk after. I must be getting old because I woke up the next day uber hungover and had to miss a day's work.
