November, rolling into December, is always a period of rest and reflection for me. Other than the hustle and bustle of December and preparing for Christmas dinner, there are always parties to go to and people from the year to meet. And during this festive time, you definitely need to look your best, so I'll be sharing with you some beauty and make-up products I've been using this end of years! Come on in!
Today's topic will be a subject close to many ladies' hearts - our skin! And not just the skin on our faces, like many of my past posts, are about, including ways to look like you're wearing makeup without actually using makeup, achieving glass/mochi skin and also places where you can get great facials, such as at New York Skin Solutions or Adisha Torre, two of the facial places I frequent.
From the picture above, you're probably wondering what today's topic might be. This is a painting of Cleopatra by artist Gerard de Lairesse - she was famous for both her beauty and wits, and legend has it that she actually avoided having a war with Julius Caesar and his forces by rolling herself in a carpet and getting it delivered to his quarters! And of course, her skin was dazzling. So today, we will be talking about both ancient and more technologically-advanced ingredients for good overall skin on your body. Come on in!
2021 was a sobering year. I started to get more responsibilities, whether I knew of them or not, in both my private and professional life. I cut off an unhealthy part of my life - mostly the boozing and fraternizing (wow what a bombastic word!). I organized my life around the people who mattered, in both my personal and work lives. Here's a 2021 recap of what happened in the year. Come on in~

This is part 2 in my series on weight-loss solutions without exercise. The first post did pretty well, and if you're looking for moderate dieting advice, please click on the link to check out a simple short-term diet you can do to lose weight (you can lose up to 3kg in a week!), and some of the science behind weight-loss. This post, however, will compare some of the non-invasive slimming techniques that you can use to slim yourself down without heavy dieting or exercise. These are some of the treatments that weight-loss salons, like Bella Marie France or Cheryl W, use for slimming on their clients. I've been to a few of these just to check them out. I was sceptical, like most of my readers, until I actually tried them... (Yes, the beauty junkie in me has tried all 5 of these treatments over the years...) Come on in to find out more!
I'm sure many of my readers out there have read my post about getting "glass" skin and how to achieve that no make-up make-up look, in years prior on my blog. (In fact, the latter article went viral and achieved 10k++ views over 2 years!) In this continuation of my skincare secrets series. I present to you: how to achieve glass or mochi skin! Adventure to the Balkans Travelogue Pt. 7: Zadar and Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia
Friday, June 12, 2020
We're nearing to the last few parts of my travelogue to the Balkans, I hope you've enjoyed the journey with me thus far. With the COVID-19 situation in 2020, amongst many other calamities, world-wide travel is forecasted to be impacted negatively, with many flight routes cancelled or not even operational in the near future. Well, one might still dream about travelling...
Now we come to the 6th part of our Balkans travelogue - the beautiful city of Split in Croatia. It is here that we come to learn of the emperor Diocletian's customs, how he became emperor, more about his palace, beautiful Diocletian singing... among many others. I hope the pandemic has treated you, my treasured reader, well and that this travelogue is a respite for you in this period of travel lockdown. Are you ready for a relaxing tour of Split? Come on in...
Now we come to the fifth part of the tour. As you recall we spent 2 days in Hotel Croatia at Dubrovnik; today's travelogue starts at the hotel on the evening of Day 4. Dinner was free-and-easy, so we opted for a walk down to the town and a tasty seafood platter.
Day trip to Montenegro, one of the countries in ex-Yugoslavia which united the Slav people in the region. This is the Bay of Kotor, a picturesque bay in the country. There are 4.5 million Montenegro people worldwide but only 600k in actual Montenegro. The country is 13,500 sqkm while in comparison, Singapore is 700 sqkm. Montenegro became independent in 2006 after separating from Serbia and was the last to leave the Yugoslavia-bloc in 2006.
Ready for a trip to Kotor? Jump right in!
I hope you had a good time reading the first two parts of my travelogue to the Balkans, namely Zagreb in Croatia and Sarajevo in Bosnia. On the third day of the trip, we travel to a region of Sarajevo, which was crucial to their civil war in the 90s. We also go to another town in Croatia named Mostar. Are you ready? Click the 'Continue Reading' button below this post to find out more!

How to Get Rid of Comedones/Whiteheads + Back Acne/"Backne" + Rosacea + Eczema + Dermatitis (MIRACLE PRODUCT + Save Money!)
Sunday, November 18, 2018
Hi friends. Today I am going to talk about a new product, which, to be fair, I have chanced upon before but never paid attention to, until recently where I had some flare-ups of skin problems. I am going to put it up front and tell you this "Miracle Product" that solves so many problems for me and my family members - Japanese Hot Spring Bath Salts! Comedones/Whiteheads, Back Acne, Rosacea, Eczema, Dermatitis. These are just some of the conditions that this really value-for-money, pharmacy product can cure... Let me try my best to explain how this product works in my post:
The Korean Glass Skin trend is something that many girls and ladies want - however, search results and research have been unsatisfactory to some as most answers have pointed to skin care. Did you know? Your skin condition fluctuates based on what you eat and your lymphatic drainage, what goes to your kidney and liver, and whether you have continuous detox. Also your stress and cortisol levels!
That is a naturalistic view towards skincare and well-being. I'm sure you must be wondering what the secret to glass skin is if you're looking for a quick fix-me-up before a big event like your wedding or birthday. The answer that many celebrities and influencers know - that I will be sharing with you today. Come on in~
