October is here as we herald the last quarter of the year. Before you know it 2018 is coming to an end. What lies in store for the lucky number 8 for the last quartet of the year? For me, October means Halloween month, and that's always something to look for in the calendar for me.
Apologies on the lateness of this post to the 10 of you that visit my blog (haha)! Been dealing with some issues for the past few weeks that perhaps I would share in another post. But for the month of July, this is what I have been up to.

June Jammies - A friend from out of town, Birthday celebrations and more...
Tuesday, July 03, 2018June heralds the end of the first half of the year. Out with the old, in with the new as they say! June was a month of gatherings and birthdays for me, and it was pretty tame for me. Transition period as they say!
With the blink of the eye, January has passed us by. The sub-25 degree temperature was a departure from the scorching heat of Singaporean summers, and us residents of the Little Red Dot were lulled into a peaceful, warm and cuddy first month of the year. So cozy up as we dive into the going ons of January!
Starting off with a notice - I'm trying to update my blog at a fixed time every month, which will be from the 1st to 3rd, so keep a look out for that!
End November to early December contained a wealth of surprises, among which was that my long lost cousin from Shanghai, Kimberley or Zhang Jin which she is known, came to Singapore for a three week long holiday, mostly as a sabbatical and also to work on her novel/writing.
October was Halloween weekend and a whole bunch of other activities here in Sunny Singapore. There were Halloween parties to be at and food to be eaten. So here's a summary of my mega-October month! (Pictured here are Harlequin-Colette and Playboy Bunny-Chelsea, along with me, who's supposed to be a hippie!)
In August and September, I sort of mellowed down a lot. Didn't go out on the weekday nights or weekends like I used to at the start of the year! I guess these two months were that of relaxation and reflection, as we slowly progress towards the last quarter of the year.
Time seems to be passing so quickly, innit? In the blink of the eye it's already the end of July as I am writing this. Here are some of the memories from these 3 months: Mostly - K's dance by the Bay, Candlenut dinner with the ACSians, pub crawl with K, J, C, K...
So I haven't been really diligently blogging recently. I know my blog is basically just a semi-private diary so that I can keep track of places I've been and people I've met, so sometimes I get lazy to write. (So far, I've gotten 3,827 views since Feb 2016. So that's quite encouraging...) Anyway just I shall see if I can finish blogging about 4 months in 1 post, if not I shall write a part 2.
So, December was a month of extended holiday and meetups with friends, and also making new years resolutions. I was just cruising around on autopilot - meeting friends and spending time with family. Plus who can forget that impromptu trip to Bali/Lembongan? December 2016 was definitely one of the highlights of the year, not just because I got to go overseas again, but because it was just so chock full of activity - places to go and people to see!
Hey ya! Just finished an Ultra tiring weekend at Ultra. Lol, see what I did there! Anyway Ultra Singapore was really really and I mean REALLY muddy. And crowded, the queues for food and drink barely moved for over 1 hour. But the music was, eh, OKAY i guess. Silly me for wearing Haviannas to a music festival with all that MUD but I guess that's a lesson learnt? YOU NEED HEAVY DUTY WELLINGTONS das what you need. So anyway starting off September with a house party:
In the blink of the eye, it is now the first day of September... I am so excited because I'm planning trips to HK, SH and Seoul in the remaining 4 months of the year. Anyway, that's a story for another time. These were my adventures in August.

So this post is all about what I've been up to in July this year. At a whopping 75 photos it's going to be a really picture-laden post so bear with me! Blogspot has this really annoying problem, which is that when you embed photos in the post they turn out really small and display really stretched and pixellated in the actual post. So I'm going to have to manually click the Large setting on all 75 photos. Le sigh.
Meet up with the oranges from CAPT!

Okay so I basically have a backlog of photos from my camera post-Japan, which happened around 3 weeks ago? I have a new phone (the s7 edge) so I have photos from there too but I'm not sure whether I should do a separate post for those. I expect I would as I go along editing this post haha.
Edit: Okay a slight heads up because this post is super long. It probably has like 50 pictures?
