September Shenanigans

Saturday, October 06, 2018

September is the month tending to Set (Seth), the Egyptian God of the Desert, Darkness and Chaos. As a novice in the ways of the World, this month has been a trying month for me. Nevertheless, we move onward into October. What does the last quarter of the year hold for me? We shall see~
The first half of the month was quiet, with me concentrating on Work mostly. Took some time out to take a stroll in the park and take some pictures.

This month, the "Sakura" or trumpet trees in Singapore were in bloom. Because of the changes in Earth, not a lot of flowers are blooming in the correct times anymore. This blooming of Trumpet Flowers were a treat for the sore eyes indeed this September.

Mam and I!

I really like this corner of the park with the Sun facade. Soleil!

A wide shot of the park with the flowers carpeting the ground.

What is this photo trying to say? A princess knight perhaps? Hmm?

This photo reminds me of the Mirabelle Palace in Europe. Hope I can go back to Europe to visit soon.

The latter half of the month was Mid-Autumn Festival and we took a jolly jaunt to Gardens by the Bay to look at the light displays.

It is the year of the Dog this year.

A light palace reflected on the River, beautiful isn't it?

A multitude of Lanterns on display.

Took some time out for Hotpot with the belles.

Also treated myself to some cheese, wine, olives and salami one of these days.

How does my amateur cheese platter look like?

Also, the parents made wontons one of the weekend.

Dimsum with Dad.

Went to see Johnny English. What a hoot that one!

Moar food!

Ding Tai Fung is one of our favourites.

That's all for September's round up of what Sasha Bee has been up to. Tune in again next time for more updates!

Quote I Love

“To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget.”
