5 small things part 1

Saturday, October 14, 2017

So I used to do this on my tumblr circa 2014, where I would blog about 5 small things that week that cheered me up. I used to do this from memory but now that I'm 26 and ailing (lol) I'm referring to Instagram and the like to write this post.

August and September, we're nearing Q4 2017!

Friday, October 06, 2017

In August and September, I sort of mellowed down a lot. Didn't go out on the weekday nights or weekends like I used to at the start of the year! I guess these two months were that of relaxation and reflection, as we slowly progress towards the last quarter of the year.

ArtScience and a little fun

Friday, October 06, 2017

In this post, I'll be documenting the 2 trips I've been to the museums here in Singapore. The first trip's pictures to ArtScience Museum for Yayoi Kasuma's exhibition are nestled in between the April, May, June post, towards the end! So for these two trips, I went to see the Universe Art, and Xiu Hai Lou Chinese Ink exhibitions at ArtScience Museum and National Gallery respectively. Not much commentary I'm afraid, but do take a look see and decide if you'd like to visit ArtScience Museum/National Gallery on your next fly-in to Singapore, or the weekend off.

July - Hair, Food, Fun and Flying into Hong Kong for a concert!

Thursday, August 10, 2017

I think the highlight of this month was definitely my trip to Hong Kong to see Monsta X in concert. At first I kinda found serendipity taking up kpop as a hobby again, since I used to be wayyy into kpop when I was a teenager (more about that later). So the month of July was me chilling out, going to the museum (more about that in a museum mega-post), and the concert in Hong Kong.

Quote I Love

“To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget.”
